Coach Tommy Gilbert

Coach Tommy is originally from Philadelphia, PA but has coached high school boys’ basketball in Colorado for 26 years. He has been conducting basketball camps, clinics, and individual and group training sessions for nearly 30 years. He is passionate about using basketball to mentor and help equip young people for life. His love for basketball provides the perfect vehicle to give back to the community and his experience on the court is invaluable to young players.

Coach Leslie Richardson

Coach Leslie is a Colorado native who developed a passion for the game at an early age. Leslie attended Overland High school with Coach DJ and was a 2-year Varsity starter. For this reason, he and Coach DJ share a lot of the same philosophies.

Coach Leslie was not heavily recruited out of High school but with hard work and dedication to the game he was able to get an offer to play at Lamar Community College. After 2 successful years at Lamar, he was offered a full ride scholarship to the University of Denver.

Leslie has always had a passion for helping others. He has been around the game for 25+ years in different facets and really enjoys helping teach the game of basketball. His knowledge of the game from all angles of player, coach, and referee make him a great asset. Leslie is very excited about our kid’s future!

Coach Bryn Reid

Bryn was a 2-year varsity player at Alameda High School and led the Pirates to a 4A Final Four appearance in 2000 and 4A Jeffco League Champions in 2001 as their starting point guard. Brynn has dedicated himself to a lifelong love of coaching the youth of Denver and he is a well-respected coach amongst his peers. He has coached the following programs over a 20+ year span:

Alameda High School Gold Crown Feeder (2005-2007)
HRCA Youth Basketball Head Coach (2014-2021)
Colorado Cardinals AAU Club - 16U & 17U (2016-2020)
Rock Canyon Gold Crown Feeder (2021-2026)

Bryn's coaching philosophy is heavily focused on defense, hustle, and mindset. His biggest goal for his players is to develop confidence, toughness and the ability to adapt to adversity, on and off the court.
